I know this post might be stupid but, shouldnt we be able to patch vc games to be signed to a specific nnid, so we can install cbhc without buying the game?

because nintendo them selves have to sign it unless they hack nintendo to grab the tools for signing games to nnids then ITS IMPOSSIBLE and the wiiu when it boots it knows when an item is signed to a nnid or not even offline and once you launch cbch with a signed vc game then it disables the sign check

They have reverse-engineered it it's because you can't sign apps to a Nintendo ID without accessing Nintendo own servers
