So... is it "safe" to upgrade to 5.5.1 already? Or should I stay on my beloved 5.3.2?
God fucking damn it Twitter, I was following them already but for some reason Twitter decided to auto-unfollow...
Sometimes I don't get this social platform and it's shenanigans anymore.

There's no point like the others mentioned. Just use a newer Homebrew Launcher or Loadiine which includes the new exploit for 5.3.2 (assuming they have been updated, I haven't checked yet) or the 5.3.2 version of the exploit NWPlayer released a day or so ago.

So what's next for the scene now that 5.5.x has got a kernel exploit? Loadiine is nice and all but the loading times of some games are pretty unbearable id just rather use my legit games on disc still. Will any progress be made on a isou exploit usb loading would be amazing.

Yeah, I've been basically comatose since the leak, anyone wanna update me on what's happened, how many people have tried Smash hacks and music mods?
From my baseless conjecture from before it leaked, hopefully everyone can pitch in effort on making more tech demos and homebrew for the Homebrew Launcher cause it's the perfect dev environment from what dimok was describing to me

This (sadly leaked) kernel exploit works millions of times better than the osdriver exploit. Now that it is implemented into the whole homebrew launcher, and loads in a single web page, this is definitely the real deal. It works flawlessly on 5.3.2 as well. I'm just so happy that Race Attacks Failed are no more ;)

I've certainly seen an increment in Smash modding for sure.
I just hope to see some new homebrew apps in the upcoming days too. :)

Grab a newer ELF, probably the latest nightly

/payloads/***.bin, /loaders/stagefright.bin, optional /data/boot.elf if you wanna run elfloader to see if the server's working right
This means nothing and doesnt help.... -.-"
What ELF? From where? If Loadine ELF I have the latest from 9 hours ago and tried a few others between up to including the beta release on march 4th.

what loaders and from where, what does that even mean? what bin files? What actually is the wii u even looking for when it says it is missing the OS addresses?

Sorry to sound blunt, just seemed like a pretty simple question with a thicker than mud response. In the same boat and tired, any help would be appreciated.
TIA

Why "sadly leaked" ? Isn't more options always a good thing? If people decide to cheat in online games that sure sucks but Nintendo will ban them right?

I got a small question..

I just updated my wiiu hack pack to loadiine GX, but when i checked my saves folder I noticed a folder called Super Smash Bros. I have this game on disc, and never played it with loadiine. Does the retail disc of SSB save on the SD card? Or is this because i ran a game using the SSB disc? Also, is it save to remove, while still keeping my retaildisc SSB save data?

No. This was the only Kexploit we have on latest. Mario and Nwp and Rean wanted to make sure they had more options before they had sent out this exploit. Now ninty will patch it, and we wont be working on Latest FW.

/*<speculation type=high> *Maybe* Nintendo won't patch it as they **may** have finished supporting WiiU </speculation>*/
