I wonder this aswell, maybe he is working a way for other people to retrieve the per console keys in conjuction with the kernel exploit ?
Hykem has IOSU user mode and is trying to achieve IOSU kernel mode. For that he needs to reverse IOSU and figure out exploits to reach higher privileges.
Edit: Also, guys, don't think it's easy to get there with just what he has. I'm 100% sure that fail0verflow also got there with the help of internal files, and not only with their skills. A lot of people posess binaries filled with debug symbols, so it's natural that it helps a lot. It happened in the ps3, it happens on the vita and ps4, and it'll certainly happen on the wii u

This also happened on the PSP; early UMD dumps had files with debug symbols in the boot.bin (Puzzle Bobble JPN) and ones including leftover files from development (some namco title) that shouldn't even have been in there, they just copied everything over from the devkit (look on old archived ps2dev forum threads for details).

Your internet connection travels with you? I didn't know that.
It can in a sense if your ISP is a wireless provider like Verizon or AT&T. I imagine there is data roaming charges especially for foreign country travel though. Come to think of it, if you got data plan for your cell phone, you could make your cell phone into a wifi hotspot.

Goomba Launcher? POW-Block Flower? This is awesome!

*Patiently waits for a 5.4.0 exploit(s).* (At least waiting allows the Homebrew scene to mature ;))

It did not at all, nope. It was marked as UNUSED by the nybble script, which was 100% accurate.
