Man, I'm glad they're releasing an adapter, I still have a controller back from 2002, along with two Wavebirds that still work :D

Why I have a feeling that gamecube controller can access the soft mod (is it called recovery mode?) just like on a wii
And won't it be better to get 2 wii controllers (classic controller) and a wii u pro

    Huh? What's engineering mode?
Sure if you prefer classic controllers that's the way to go, but Melee players swear by the GameCube controller and it's not easy to get used to another controller if you've been playing with a GC controller.

Remember folks, for all interested, this is about the only way you'll be able to get your hands on an official Nintendo Gamecube controller, brand new, at a decent price over a decade after the release of the Gamecube. For those of you who still like to use your Gamecube, who use Gamecube controllers via an adapter on your PC, or who like to use Gamecube controllers on your Wii, this is your best bet for getting a brand new controller in great shape.

As for myself, I have three Gamecube controllers, all about as old as the Gamecube, which was bought near launch, so I'll welcome a new controller with tight sticks back into my collection.

The adapter that the controllers plug into (which contains 4 GC controller ports) has a cord that goes into the two USB slots in front of your Wii U.

My bad, it's RECOVERY MODE which granted fully access to the hardware/ software. Initially designed to do recovery for system, but this also allow you to install soft mods like home-brew.
The wii controller cannot be used, and a lot of graphic features are down.

Nice hardware for a system that has been around for 2 years with nothing to show for it.

Yeah, this is basically your 2 year list. Pretty sad.

--All these were supposed to have been launch games.

You seem frustrated now with Wii U as you've sold it and you're getting it out of your system. That's good. :)

Yes, certain gamers are highly resistant to change and progress. Some actually have an aversion to all things progress. :)

To be fair though, the Gamecube controller was pretty exquisite - not a whole lot that I'd change about it. Possibly the best triggers in history, even if they had a bit too much travel.

He was probably broke and needed money so he sold his Wii U then to get others to feel as pessimistic as him he tried it out here. lol

Or, or, bear with me here, he's a part of the majority that believes the Wii U library is lackluster at best.

Wonderful 101? Very, very meh reception. Far from a system seller, and debatable if it's even worth purchasing.
Bayonetta 2? Follow up to a niche title that wasn't even that good, and as such, it will still hardly appeal to most.
Wind Waker HD? Almost zero improvements over the GC version unless you were really hurting for prettier graphics. The price tag for the content is positively obscene.
Monster Hunter 3 U? Not a Wii U exclusive, and arguably more worthwhile on the 3DS, as then it is easily portable.
Mario Kart 8? If you like Mario Kart, woo. If you think Mario Kart is meh and have found better kart racers (ex: that Sonic racing transformed whosa wuzzit), not so woo.
Super Mario 3D World? Okay, at this point, we all have to acknowledge that yet another Mario platforming title does not hold the appeal it once did.
Super Smash Bros U? Oh, you can tell the future. You know this is going to be a good game already? There is a lot of room for error. Let's wait for a release.
Sonic Lost World? Super average. Decent as far as recent Sonic games go, but that isn't saying a lot.
Tekken? Oh booooy, a mature fighting game on a system with an aversion to a decent online system from a company that has created a fan base that thinks an M rating means it's a bad game. Sign me up?
Rayman Legends? Multiplat. You can play it on so many things that you can't say it strengthens any one system's library.
Splinter Cell Blacklist? See Rayman Legends explanation.

And I wasn't even trying to be picky. This is how I genuinely feel about all the games listed, and it creates a resounding "meh" when trying to sum up how I feel about the Wii U library.

Now, before you create a post saying how "that's just my opinion, man", recognize that your liking of the Wii U is also just your opinion. If you like a system, cool, but don't feel like you have to justify how great the system is just because someone says they don't like it. The Wii U isn't a popular system for multiple reasons, and trying to convince people that those reasons don't exist is only a test in frustration and futility.

Also, provided someone did have to sell a system because they were in dire financial straits (not implying that Ulieq did, to be clear), it just makes you look like a massive dick to make it sound like they're the bad person, even if you're just joking around. Being rude doesn't exactly make you the bigger man when trying to make your point. Ad hominem. Check it out.

I'm not going to say the system is great because the quantity of quality games is very short and it doesn't matter if it's a multiplatform, Rayman Legends has Mario/Luigi costume and Tekken Tag 2 also has Nintendo franchise costumes (Link, Mario, Peach, etc).
