Can I play roms from a usb instead of an sd card? If so how?
How do people get all their roms onto a 2gig sd card?
you can't play roms via usb/hdd, but you can have your legally purchased games there, if your console's out of internal storage
so there is no way to play n64 backups from the usb?
Well you can through hacking vWii and the use of a N64 emulator.
Do i put the emulator on the sd and then the roms on the usb?
First you need to mod vWii. This is the hardest part and heres a guide for it https://gbatemp.net/threads/full-vwii-softmod.339899/
After that you can put N64 emulator on SD or USB, just need the homebrew channel to launch it.
I am just waiting on the sd card to get here so i can mod my wii. Can i do that with all the emulators?
I think so. BTW after modding vWii you can use SD cards bigger than 2GB.
I am just wanting to use the USB stick i already have. That site you linked said not to use certain IOS's is there a certain place i should download from?
Not sure if they put any links there. Just don't use IOS's for Wii. Make sure it says vWii or Wii U otherwise your vWii will become permanently unusable.
Ok last question. Does the new GC controllers work with GC iso's? and other emulators.
I think there is a way to get it to work on Nintendont but not sure about emulators.
Ok, Thanks for all the help.
No problem .
Wii u games are not that much bigger when extracted to play on loadiine. I have 30+ games on my 128gb sd and lots more room.
Is loadiine better than Nintendont?
vWii is the Wii Menu in Wii U
Loadiine: backup loader of Wii U games
Nintendont: backup loader of Wii games
Isn't Nintendont a GameCube backup loader ?
