Hi, All,
I am new here so firstly hello
I am having an issue with my kids WiiU Premium, After months of no usage and having upgraded it to a switch i fired it up to reset it just before christmas.
Initially it was okay, stayed on for 2/3 hours
turned it back on the following evening to reset and pack away read for potential sale, and within minutes, a pop suggesting an update had installed and then
Error Code de 160-0103 - A Problem with the System Memory

Now I don't believe there is any that can be done with this as it is due to the eMMC chip ?

If correct, would it still possible to do the HackMii

Thanks in Advance

you might be able to flash an old nand backup. the otp.bin probably won't help here. it can decrypt the nand, but it's not liable to help if you don't know what's wrong with the nand to begin with.

I am very sorry to hear of your Issues....this sounds really like a Hardware Failure....

A little Question please:
You wrote "Reset it....."

Do you maybe mean,it has Custom Firmware (Haxchi/Coldboot Haxchi/Mocha) on it and/or was modded before ?
And you did a RESET ?

Please tell us this is not really happened....

if it's a cbhc brick, you can fix it with teensy++ 2.0 and a nand dump. from before the error happened or just the otp.bin afterwards. if you have neither, the brick is unfixable.

And as mentioned, you need a NAND Backup from YOUR Wii U from BEFORE the Trouble started.

Good Luck.:)[/QUOTE]

Ok, so if I don`t have that, as I would have had no reason to have extracted this I can do nothing with it ?

We can ask @GaryOderNichts if there is some "Alternative" but I fear...no....

if you have the otp.bin, it's fixable. or like @alexander1970 said, a nand backup. however, the otp.bin method means only if you know what's wrong with the system. there's an app specifically for a cbhc brick called cbhc remover. other than that, I'd say the chances of fixing whatever the problem is is small. if you have neither, it's unfixable.
