Hacking Wii u downgrade ready 5.5.0

Hey guys i have a question i have this link found on the web

Is this ready to 5.5.0

I think if that goes then why not to come up with another on the enjoyment of homebrew we do not need just a backup of another Wii U?

nope, firstly there is device specific encryption afaik, the same as the 3DS, meaning without a nand backup from your specific console you cannot perform a hardware downgrade,

also that guide only deals with emmc dumping, unlike the 3DS the wiiu stores its FW on a separate NAND chip, which is harder to wire up and dump/restore, not only that i haven't seen a single person actually confirm they have had a downgrade work, but seen a few people bricked attempting the mod

These nand backups would only be useful for if you've bricked the same Wii U you dumped the nand from. (hope that made sense.)

If your asking if this will work on all update versions. If it's anything like the 3ds nand dumping. It won't matter what firmware you're on since it's a hard mod. And can not be patched since it's the nand test point locations.
