Hardware Wii u broke, got another. Question regarding my external drive.

As title says, my wii u is shot. I got another, preowned, of course. It is still enroute, by mail.
Can I salvage, somehow, the save games of my external hard drive which was being used in the broken wii u?

Nope, the HDD is linked to the Wii U it was paired with. Make sure to back up your saves next time before your Wii U breaks to a PC.

Thanks for the info. Recently I was playing more Nintendon't than Wii U, and those are safe in my SSD.

Yeah the games you can replace easily. Just back up your saves every few months or so because you don't replace them.

Well I have the vWii NAND dump, I would like to restore just the saves, can anyone point me to a guide or something?

Found out how to restore my Wii saves, using save games manager gx for the vWii. Thanks everyone.
