My Wii u was running all fine last night and I did region hax on it and everything was good. Rebooted the Wii u probably 5 times and played some games on both rednand and sysnand. For some reason now today I booted it up and I get the error code 160-0103. There is a problem with the system memory. Don't really understand this because I haven't done anything to it and it worked fine last night? I have cbhc and rednand on my Wii u if this helps and I backed everything up, don't know if that matters though...

Yep, your wii u somehow ended up bricking itself, sorry... (but why and how would it do that?)

I have no fucking clue? It says some have defective Emmc chips? I sent one back last year because it had one and had to pay 100 to get this one...worked since and all day today and then bam that?

But it's very weird, you've ended up bricking after a successful cbhc installation, and the wii u was running fine as you said!

The big question is why the heck would you do region hax on it as cbhc/rednand is region free in the first place. You just region freed something that was already region freed no wonder it fucked up lol.

Yeah, maybe was this that caused the brick (I didn't know that cbhc was Region Free, i don't have it so...)

Well cbhc isn't it just patches it. I did the region hax with Python, which says it can brick it if you do something wrong, I didn't and it worked after I did it both last night and today. Plus it is giving me an error code that previous user have had. Don't really get why it happened though...I would love to fix it if I could...

probably because of cbhc, don't think regionfreehax has anything to do with it
I've had cbhc for months though?

there's a high chance of bricking with cbhc if the game files get corrupted, and thats what migh have happened here
i've had regionfree since it was released, and never had any problems with it

Switch the wiiu on and hold down the B button keep it held down and the wiiu should then boot into the homebrew launcher. if it does we can fix it from that.

I thought that too, tried it and it still hits the error code.

There is if you do something wrong, I've had it for months and everytime everything goes smoothly. The last time I used it was on splatoon and closed the software, then turned it off. Went to play it again and the error code pops up.

Well sorry to be blunt about this but you are fucked.
I figured...I have no more ideas on what to do either.

on one last thing to try start the wiiu until the error shows then on the pc try connect to the wiiu with the wup client thingy (not sure if that's the right name lol) if that connects we can probably still fix it.

I was thinking that too, but since it doesn't get patched I doubt it'll connect, I'll give it a shot.
