I'm looking for all the programs I need w/ burning backups, removing patches, updates, etc. Is there a site that has an up-to-date Wii tools list with downloads? Or a Wiki or something? I've searched around and got Brick Blocker and WiiScrubber. I know there's more I just can't find them. Also, anything for gamecube games on Wii with a Wiikey? I've heard you can make a multi-game GCN disc to play on the Wii with a Wiikey???

For making GC multigamediscs, use MultiGame ISO Creator v3.2.4F+

I think this is all homebrew. I'm talking about ISO tools. If they're there, I can't find them.

But speaking of those, is there a compiled version of Segher's Wii.git tools?
    Make keeps giving a error.

GCMUtility for making multi game GameCube discs.

I can fit 8 or 9 gamecubes on a full size DVD (hell, Animal Crossing is only like 15Meg!)

forgive the noobishness of this post, but I was not around for the gcn scene and I am playing a bit of catch up.

I know there was a way to soft mod a GCN to play back ups but I don't know what I would have to do.

Also can a GCN multi game disc be booted on an unmodded wii?

Or if an yone knows of a good link to some tutorials etc. that would be great.

Look around in the gamecube section of maxconsole, there's some good stuff there still
And no, you can NOT run any kind of burnt disc on a Wii without a chip installed, for the millionth time.

YES! Thank you, if these are all the ISO tools, then you have made my day. Are all of these still useful? I know Trucha isn't if you update to 3.3, but what about Brick Blocker and stuff? I only plan on playing NTSC games on an NTSC console.

there is one I'm looking for (a iso decompresser to disassemble iso to partition to file, and reassemble files to partition).
there may be more, I don't know all of them I think.
    edit :
I found it, a rar named "WiiTools v.2", including "WiiEd.exe" to unpack Iso to partitions and "WiiSo.exe" to pack and unpack partition content.
There is no way to repack partition to iso. it isn't usefull anymore, it's just here for historical purpose [IMG]
I like having all old tools.

    - Trucha is still useful, you need the homebrew "GeckoOS" to boot trucha'ed games.
    - unscrambler is no more needed (all the releases are in iso format. It's still needed if you find first games released)
    - Scrubber is needed only if you plan on compressing iso (storage purpose, or sending over internet for less Mb)
    - Wum is great tool I'm using [IMG] it allow you to check and replace update partition one Wii iso.
    - Brick blocker (I never used it, I'm using Wum)

Since you're going to play NTSC iso's on your NTSC console, there is not a lot of ISO editing to be done, you can just burn & play the games.

Yes, it made me remember one more tool (for PAL users [IMG])

    You can add
    - Wii video mode changer (Wii VMC)

You know what would be great on your topic ?
edit your 1st post and make a list of all the tools I told you and tools you will find next.
With link (to downloads area) and explanation of what the tools are for.
    (or on the wiki)
