You should be able to download the system menu wad for your version and region then install with wad manager. Thats just a simple and easy way, without having to update and also maintaining cIOS's etc

can you help me searching for it?
sorry im a noob and i suck at searching

edit: 4.1e

use modmii to get a 4.1E app file and mymenuify
then just use mymenuify to install it

no need to reinstall priiloader

okay, i got the nusd (nice app btw) and i downloaded the 4.1e system menu which is v450 - 0000000100000002 (would appreciate if someone could confirm this)
I clicked download so it downloaded
its in the titles folder and i got a few files:

-0000000a
-0000000b
-0000000c
-0000001b
-0000007d
-0000007e
-0000007f
-00000009
-00000033
-cetk
-tmd.450

They dont have any extensions, what am i supposed to do with these?
my computer says theyre just.. files.
no app lol.

help?

Why would a fresh system menu be better. by reinstalling the oringinal.app file the system menu is restored to the original state unless you have a used start patch or something which will patch a different app file than the theme tools. If anything a new menu install is more dangerous than using the method diddy recomended because it removes pre/priiloader which for some is the only brick protection they can get.

Just my opinion, nothing more. I used to replace app files all the time back in the days of Softmii and I encountered probs when just replacing what is essentially a part of the menu. So, I gave up with that method and installed a full sysmenu wad.

when using nusd you need to click decrypt option before you hit download

its way easier to get thememii and use the base app getter in that than messing with nusd

yes its the 7e file but it needs decrypting before you can use it on your wii
