after i used the trucha bug and installed the ios36, i installed preloader
then wen i turn on my wii again its just load direct to preloader, and when i try to go to system menu it says my system files are corrupted to refer to nintendo manual

how can i unbrick my wii????
PLEASE

Use priiloader to start the homebrew channel, and from there reinstall the system menu with DOP-Mii

If you have bootmii on boot2 with a backup, that would help aswell, but the above suggestion is possibly more viable if you were just begining to softmod and not upgrading something.

i used preloader to launch homebrew channels, and then dop-mii, how i reinstall system menu with it?
im totally lost
should i install bootmii as boot2 instead of preloader later?

If i recall correctly all you have to do is make sure the priiloader is pointing to the System menu during boot try looking through the priiloader menu sorry im going by memory i have not used priiloader in a while.

Also if you can install bootmii as boot2 do that unless you want priiloader for the hacks. i would still install bootmii as boot2 before installing any other stuff

im have preloader, not priiloader, when i try to go to system menu it just show me the system files are corrupted, refer to manual etc.
I need to know now how to restore the system through dop-mii, if its the case

which system menu are you on?
3.x?
4.x?

also preloader and priiloader is the same thing the only differance is priloader is a mod of the original program

Also to get rid of preloader or priiloader all you have to do is reinstall the system menu i would just reinstall the same one your on that should clear things up for you since you can get in to the homebrew channel

4.2U

im reading your threat now DeadlyFoez, and i have this exact problem

Scrambled message when powered on;

You get a scrambled message that appears to say "The system menu files are corrupt". This generally is caused because you have preloader installed and then you reinstalled the system menu's IOS. What you need to do to repair this is just reinstall Preloader. Try this out and see if it fixes your issue.
i tried to reinstall preloader but i still have the same problem (im using preloader 0.29, should i install 0.30 over, its safe?)

i got the system files corrupted before, when i tried to go to the homebrew channel. i just restarted my wii and it worked fine.

is your wii actually bricked or did you not try to restart it yet?

i already turned it off several times, and unplug from the ac adapter to bought it home, still the problem persist

reinstall your system menu with Waninkoko Firmware updater 4.2 and that will get rid of your problem

i run the firmware updater 4.2, but it turns off my wii controller ¬¬

edit: if i try to run wad manager it turns my wii controller of as well

it does that because you have no Trucha Bug in your IOS it sounds as if. try to restore the Trucha Bug you can use

or

at least that was in my case a while back do you have any cios installed?

sometimes u have to leave it unplugged for up to 10minutes, and also unplug it from the wall not from the back of the wii. i had the exact thing a while back, but no need to shit myself Ive got bootmii boot2

i installed ios36 with Trucha Bug 1.11, but im not sure if it went as it should

well i would try to re-do it with dop-mii since it tells you if it failed or if it worked also would probably be a good idea to make sue you have a cIOS installed

Actually that's what happens when an IOS is missing or stubbed...
Also, I'd stay away from that updater.

@Padoca85: What system menu were you using? If it was 4.2, it bricked because the old preloader wasn't compatible with 4.2. You can update to priiloader by downloading its installer and running it from the HBC.
