Hello GBGBAI need some help.

My brother softmodded the wii with Hackmii and USB loader GX (Version 3.0 r1262). The games are transferred and converted to wbfs files with Wii Backup Manager.

We managed to transfer and install two games and they worked, but after trying to transfer another game onto the USB, all games show the display screen but pushing 'Play' brings us to the Homebrew menu or we just get a black screen and have to reset the Wii. The .isos downloaded receive high ratings, so we're assuming that's not the problem.

Any idea what this could be?

some games might need a different IOS to the one installed on your wii google the game to see what IOS the game need

but best to do is update gx loader first http://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/ unless you already have the newest one

You may also want to check if your USB's are the same format.

try to install ios236 and cios 249. im sure this is work on your wii.

I wanna thank everyone for your suggestions.

We have the newest GX loader, though we reinstalled d2x cios installer and redid the format just to be safe.

The USB is the same format, FAT32

The settings we did now are:
<Select IOS <u10 beta53 d2x-u10-beta53-alt
<Select IOS base 56
>Select IOS Slot 249

<Select IOS <u(or v)10 beta 52 d2x u10 beta 52
<base 57
<Slot 250
<revision 65335

We will try out 236 and 249 this time because we ran into another issue.

I transfer the .wbfs files to the USB with Wii backup manager, and every time I take it to the Wii to try them out the files are deleted before the Homebrew selection screen comes up. I believe this is something to do with d2x.

d2x v10 beta53 is not recommended. It has compatibility issues with some games and some hard drives. It's best to just use beta52.
