I am new to the whole Wii modding business, so I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I've modded my wii (correctly, I believe) and have created a partition on a USB to house games. the USB is FAT32, storing games as wbfs files. I say this because I'm not sure if the problem lies within my Wii or my USB, but I'm thinking the former.

The problem I am encountering is when I try to play the games. I have both USB Loader and USB Loader GX, but when I try to open either of them, my wii resets to the home screen. I've run a syscheck and this is what I've found.

Oh, my name on a post from a new user ;)
I'm well known here!

your system is fine.
- You should post more information about your loader (version/revision).
- verify your games are not write protected on your drive.
- Use WiiBackupManager to copy or convert games from ISO to wbfs, but use this options:
use subfolder
layout "Title [ID]"
rename on mount (all three options on the FAT32 tab)
use Wiitdb titles (on another tab)

if you want a channel to install on your system menu, you can use the official channel instead of using the channel modmii installed.

On Wii, install this channel using a wad manager : http://www.mediafire.com/download/yqe7y1ua8bp5lb2/USB_Loader_GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad
once installed you will have an USBLoaderGX channel on your system menu.
when you launch it, it will redirect to SD:/apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol and load that file. if you don't use SD, it will try USB too.

on vWii, install this channel instead :
http://www.mediafire.com/download/f..._GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT_vWii_(Fix).wad
