Gaming Wii Region free update ???

Hi,

I really don't think its true but some guy from gamestop sayed that Nintendo is going to make an update that makes the Wii Region Free.

I heard such rumors since before the wii came out and cuz there is no thread about it here i think its wrong rumor but why would that gamestop guy say so ???

I believe he was talking about (not knowing it by himself..?) about the new Freeloader for Wii.

Who knows? That region lock on Wii was seemingly added at the last minute, even Nintendo's own employees didn't know for sure about it until a few weeks before launch.
