The power and reset buttons control bootmii as well, if I remember correctly:
Power will move the cursor to different menu options(press it, don't hold it, or your wii will turn off)
Reset will select/confirm the option you have highlighted.

Silly me, if I remember well, that was the reason I didn't make a Nand backup when I first modded my Wii...
---------------------------
I have successfully made a Nand backup.
I have successfully installed Ios60 and System menu 4.1E.
I was quite surprised to see that I kept all my channels and savedata, I had already kissed them goodbye.
But I can't install priiloader, it tells me something about IOS61? Thoughts?

Can you tell me what? I have tried installing Ios61, still couldn't load priiloader. I noticed there's no Cios61? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

It says: " CIos61 isn't ES_identify patched: Error - 1017., aborting mission".
I'm trying to install Priiloader 0.7.

Aparantly you need your ios patched with a certain patch.
I think modmii should be able to produce the ios61 wad you need to install.
If you don't find it wait for Xflak to return.

Now that you've got your wii in a stable state with nand backup, just run the ModMii Wizard, tell it your wii has never been modded before, then follow your custom guide. That will get all your softmods up to date and installed properly, including priiloader.

ModMii uses a modified version of the priiloader v0.7 installer that uses IOS236 (which should already be patched). The official priiloader v0.7 installer uses ahbprot and the IOS loaded by the HBC or w/e... so this tells me two things, 1) your homebrew channel is installed to use IOS61 instead of IOS58 (IOS58 is better as it offers USB2 support) and 2) the installer your using is missing the no_ios_reload tag from it's meta.xml (either that or the installer just doesn't like IOS61). Anyways, you don't need to concern yourself with any of this, just use ModMii and when you get to the install priiloader step it will simply just work, and ModMii will also make sure your HBC is installed to use IOS58 instead of IOS61

I'm sorry man, but can you help me again. I can't even get the apps to show up on HBC? The Usb loader shows up. The others don't? Do you know what is wrong?
