I have a PAL Wii and a JPN Wii. Can I use the power adapter from my PAL Wii on my JPN one?

Any info?

Thanks.

as long that the output is 12volts 3.7A your all good.

i use the same power adapter on all of my wii's (US wii and japan wii)

i even used the 12volts of a PC ATX power supply to power my wii, when i blew the power adapter by accidentally plugging a 110v power supply to a 220v wall socket

I set up a PSU to turn on when it is plugged in (ground the green cable with a black on the 20/24 pin connector) then used it to power a hard drive. Every hard drive I used that with burnt out after a while though...

Ummm, no you aren't. Even going by what you just said.
Fair play on the PC PSU game, thats cool, but as for using a JAP power lead on a PAL wii...
If you plug a 110v PSU into a 230v wall socket, its gonna go bang

it think he knew how to choose the right PSU to use with both wiis
using the other one with either wii would be bad so in fact using the same is the best option
but i'd rather use sneek anyway

btw for the PC PSU guy
check that you use a 12V line not a -12V line
they give MUCH less power

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    For your R4
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
