Hardware Wii no longer reads Verbatim media

Hi.
My Wii (modded with D2CKey), 2 days ago, stopped reading my Verbatim DVD-R backups, that always worked before (and they were burned on low speed). But I have a backup of SSBB on a Memorex DL, and it still works. I also got a cheap media backup (much worse) and it also works on my Wii. That means it no longer read THE Verbatims.
What can I do?
EDITED: SOLVED, after using a different disc on the Wii for some days, the Wii is reading the Verbatims again.

Have u tried to see if img burn can extract the isos. Maybe just bad batch of disk?

first suggestion...... are discs clean ?

second suggestion - get on the USBloader bandwagon and see if IMGBurn can extract the ISOs from the disc then stick them on a USB hard drive.... much easier than a boxful of discs
