Gaming Wii Music firmware update

I am really confused about the update that Wii Music installs. I know that the October 23rd update makes that you can't install any wads, so I was wondering is wii music's update the same one? If not, does it affect the wii in the homebrew part? Because I really want to play it.

I think the Wii Music update is the June 3.3 version. So you should be safe

There's probably only 1 way to find out.. and that's by installing it.
It's a 3.3 version for sure , cause I'm on 3.2E and am getting the firmware update screen.
But there's no way to see if it's the 1st version or the 23 oct version.

it will be the first 3.3 update, not Octobers... that game will have been ready months ago.

I installed Wii music USA update on my NTSC wii and i still can install wads, so it's safe.
