Hacking Wii Menu 4.2 Released

A channel update kills a channel not a systemmenu.
Nintendo overwrites the HBC with a newer fake-HBC...

I think you are wrong, Nintendo servers does NOT install any "fake" homebrew channel, the only channel that is installed is the Shop Channel (title "HABA" you were quoting IS the shop channel)
it's more likely the system menu IS looking for the HBC and deletes it, like previous versions did with TP hack savefiles
otherwise, why would they have updated the system menu version if there wasn't nothing added ?

are you sure you did this for real on your own Wii an your menu version is now 4.2 ?
seems suspicious to me because not very logical but who knows

Yeah, u are right HABA is Shop Channel and HAXX is HBC. So i don't know what deletes the HBC but SM4.2
didn't for me.
