Wii Key SD Adapter

    Does anyone know how to get this thing to work because everytime I try it a message comes up saying "the device inserted slot b cannot be used". This was using a canon 16mb sd card that hasn't been used before.

    You can't use it as a regular memory card. One must first start homebrew code (aka SDload possibly or anything else that uses the SDgecko/WiiKeySDadapter).

    So you can't save games on it at all?

    Only Animal crossing JP I think. An SDgecko isn't for storing normal GC gamesaves; it's for homebrew (to save to).

    Exactly. Only Animal Crossing JP supports GC-SD memorycards.

    So, no, you can't use it as a normal GC memcard.

    As stated it cannot be used to store gamesaves. Kaidomain and Dealextreme have dirt cheap memory cards of varying sizes. I bought from there and did the internal memory card mod - it works out well when you do not have to have the memory card permenantly sticking out the side!
