So there's no way of plugging in the headset before you turn on your wii and still get it to work? I don't want to have to keep plugging it in and out each time I use the wii. I want to leave it in.

It's an issue with priiloader, might be fixed by now if it's been recompiled with a recent libogc.

Had this issue a long time ago. Yes try updating priiloader, but if I recall I also needed to update my forwarder. I had a priiloader forwarder dol that I booted straight to that needed I to get an updated version of for it work correctly. Haven't had a problem since.
