HI

I'm quite new to this.
I've soft-moded my wii and added the homebrew channel according to some guide.
i have various apps on sd card and i can load them in wii.

I've formatted a usb thumb drive (sandisk cruzer 16GB) to FAT32 cluster size 32k and created a wbfs folder and copied a folder of a game with a wbfs file in it.
I've copied the game folder manually and not via backup manager as i have a security product on my laptop that is now allowing to copy files to usb (but manual copy works fine)

I've tried wiiflow, GX loader, cfg loader and all show that no games found.

I've placed the usb in the slot that is closed to the bottom (near the rubber), but I've tried also the other usb port.

when the USB is in, wiiflow ca't even load and is stuck at loading (which requires wii reboot) (i think it did load when I've formatted the USB with cluster size of 8k, but not sure)
if i remove the USB wiiflow loads (i assume it is wiiflow lite) and than i insert the usb drive but the app cant find games on it.
i saw somewhere that i'm on cios 249 58 (not sure where and i can change it)
in one app it seems it is on 249 56 (it's a bit gibberish to me right now)
i'm adding sys check and will appreciate any help.
thanks in advance.

Hello,

I advise you to get an external hard drive format in fat 32 and use "" wii backup manager "" to manage your games. And everything will be fine

Just make a copy paste of your games on the USB support, may not work properly, that's why you have to use wii backup manager.

very often the USB keys give black screens or do not start.

I finally got a 1 TB WD HDD (WD Elements), converted it from GTP to MBR and left it on NTFS.
all games works fine on wiiflow, but none are recognized on cfg loader, USB loader GX (i assume is might be due to the NTFS not support?)
i 'd rather not work with 2 partitions (hence NTFS), as i assume it might be more difficult to use (i'm preparing this wii for my small nephews, so must be 0 issues.)

I personally encountered no issues when it comes to FAT32. I am not sure how to load games when in WBFS but if you change your mind you might notice that you can not format your HDD to FAT32. For that you will need GUIformat which link I cannot provide because I am a newbie.

Hello,

GUIFORMAT ===> http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

Prefer your external hard drive in FAT 32 and use wii backup manager to manage your games.

what versions of loader do you have with configurable loader and usb loader gx ??
