done a lot of wii's never downgraded them working perfect for most games... don't know latest set also includes nintendont, if not see: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/ )

Electro Static Discharge... like on all computers it's better safe than risking it.

software to install on a wii that functions even better than modchip, except for a few games i might forget.there's not an all working setting as far as i know, but this works for about 90% of all games, just need a SD-card, and if you wanna repair software this works for most wii's also... just know it's always best to dump the nand for restoration if ever needed, but then you'll need BootMii/boot2 installation and a gc controller...

ohh no, i thought to understand he followed wrong mod instructions before , at least if i'm correct that's how he blew up this mainboard.

Nope, he installed a WAD which was below his firmware, I guess he installed some wad(s) of 3.4 on his 4.3 console, something like that..

there's no such thing except when installing ios/bc/system menu/mios... the only reason to install one of these is to softmod, otherwise nintendo's versions are working mighty fine.

Can you guess approximately what will be the rate.

There is a high chance Nintendo will remove Mod's on the Wii reguardless. Never send it to them to repair, or else you may have potentially more problems in your Wii System. Plus the cost to fix it may be at a really high value since they will be dealing with a full brick.

I think the modchip is cheap for me.

Even if it is claimed to work you wouldn't be able to repair the Wii since you do not have Bootmii on your Wii. Always install Bootmii on the system. If you do not, and you are bricked your doomed from recovering

This is all really debatable. If you do not have the equipment or know a lot about installing motherboards. Then you may want to buy a new Pre-Owned original white Wii.

I would highly recommend just getting a new motherboard, and trying it out first if you want to fix your Wii. just make sure you get the correct region of the one for your Wii (4.3e) for best compatibility. Also I know it's a no brainer but just be sure you know who your trading with incase anything goes wrong.

It's fine. I do the same thing sometimes once in awhile.

It's a common error.
Sadly if that's not the issue the user may not be selling it anymore, or it's already been bought. You could try contacting the seller about the items (if they provided any email, or phone #.) That may help as well.
