Hardware Wii DVD drive noise

Is this noise normal?

I'm worried because the wii is seconhand. First time I hear a noise like this in a console, even a Wii, but i've read in various sites that is normal and it's just the drive reading the disc.

Really? Never minded me. Nothing compared to my Xbox 360 which sounds like it's preparing for lift off.

Well yeah, that one is a monster.

But this sounds like something is out of place and it's hitting something. That clicking sound drives me nuts.

just as long as it can still read disks then i think it will be alright
