PD: No Trucha shit used in this version.
nobody asked yet but, how do you boot the iso without Trucha sign ?
There is a new exploit found or you wrote your own code to sign the same way thucha does ?

What was the bug in Version 1?, i used Version 1 (PAL) and it removed all my dup channels, is there something i missed with problems for Version 1?

V1 only hides your duplicate channels. It modifies them and then sign them with trucha signer. But when updating, if trucha is locked by big N, your channels will be invalid and the wii will not be able to boot.

V2 completely removes channels. It's not doing any signing, so if an update blocks trucha, you won't have invalid channels, and so your wii is safe !

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think i'm prety close to reality.

First think, than write!

You can wait so long and confirm your post. Or why you post this shit?

Lol I might be tired, but when I do this I have to update Brawl all over again, and whats the point?

At least whats the point for me, who wants to Brawl every day. I'd rather have dupe channels ^^

@Marticuno: Why you don't use Freeloader before booting? It blocks the Updates

So you can Brawl without Updateshit AND dupechans 'til Big N kills the Freeloader. So you are Safe for the maybe upcoming bricking threat and can brawl till freeloader gets killed.

I used 15% trick, then booted this using Twilight hack.

It said "searching for duplicate channels" then it booted me back to Wii menu. Guess there were no traces.

This is also an excellent IOS version checker. I am at 36.

So this definitely removes all traces of the two channels and nothing else? Can anyone verify what information was installed by the SSBB japanese update (aside from the dual channels)? And if it was just to enable dual layer, is it a region-free thing?

I'm going to leave this until after MK wii, definitely interested though.

Once i've heard from 1) someone who's not removed dual channels and has updated with mario kart and
2) someone who has removed the dual channels and updated with mario kart

then i'm sure there'll be more people rareing to go!

good work tho
