Hacking Wii connectivity?

Having trouble and can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
All I'm looking to do is connect my EZ-Flash Vi with Pokemon Soul Silver to Pokemon Battle Revolution (USA). Is this possible with The Vi? How?

Apparently, it sometimes works with the 1.90 OB kernel. But It never worked for me. If you've applied the recent firmware update, though, then this kernel won't work.

The short answer to your question is basically "no".
