Gaming Wii churning/popcorn sound on certain games?

My Wii has been doing this ever since I was a kid.... an example would be mysims or Kirby's return to Dream Land or some other wii games, including Skyward Sword.
Is my Wii fried, or is this popcorn/churning sound (expecially in action sequences) normal?

heres a few things to try, Hook the wii up to different TV/Speakers. Try using a differrnt AV Cable for the wii, or use composite instead of component.

That hiss and pop sound are normally signal interuptions on the way to the speaker, but could be from the speaker itself as well. If it goes away when you try a diff TV, you have yoru answer.

It's coming from the console, not the TV...
