Wii U wont boot with aroma

i modded my wii u today and works fine i downloaded a game with nusspli and worked but when i was downloading kirby's return to dream land i was having network issues so i reboot my wii u (not before canceling the download) when it was booting i ejected my mario kart 8 disc and aroma is now stuck on the wii u boot screen or wii u menu screen but dont actually boot but when booting without a sd card it works fine

fixed: was a issue with the default envirioment

Hi, I have sorta the same problem. I booted my wii u (with aroma installed) up one time asking for an aroma update about a month ago. And so I updated aroma and know it just sits on a black screen. Before the update it would "launch" into the wii u menu. I was thinking to just re-mod it, thinking it would fix the problem. But every single video/forum That pops up is only possible with a working wii u. I know I don't need to do that, but it is just something on the back of my mind.

I am also sure that my SD card is strong enough to handle such speeds.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I have sorta the same problem. I updated aroma, swapped out SD Cards, and I just don't really know what to do.

format your sd card labeled "SD" then pass the leatest aroma files then reconfigure enviroment loader

Hi thanks for the suggestion. I am just about to do that but I was wondering if the name of your sd card matters? mine is named "Wii U Card". And When formatting the SD card should I have a backup? or just slide aroma in to my files DMs.

the name matters i recommend just cakkung ut sd or "SD" u had problems with the sd labeled "Sd Card"

dont backup put the files fresh from where you got them on the formatted sd card

(Edit 2 seconds after reply) I don't know about it to well but If I have chunks of sava data from my games, can I just install them back and place the saves back and I can just continue from where I left off?

DO NOT use backups after and before the formatting for any aroma files this includes plugins and apps but about save files they are saved in the wii u nand but if you're talking about savemii files then please backup those

okay. Final thing (maybe a few extra) but What about anything that isn't Aroma based?

Should I put those back or just start from scratch

backup anything that is important and isnt aroma based if there is nothing important or that you cant get back just start from scratch that should work

Just finished the set-up. And There are no payloads even though I installed them? and It doesn't even boot into aroma.

The L+D-pad Down+ - doesn't work and I have the payloads in the right place.
(Sorry its so late)

then i recomend you using the dnspresso exploit and rehomebrewing your wii u "drive.google.com/file/d/1SDtzT-dDvi5LensVK8y_pNXZtXT2kzs2" get the files from the google drive link since is the same i use and works just fine the only thing i modded in my wii u is that i added pretendo network and a mk8 mod

Sorry I fixed it
Just had to install tiramusu and aroma again



But I just installed aroma properly and The Homebrew launcher is no where to be found.

I Checked mii maker and it is not there

I tried installing it from the HBAS but to no avail
I do Have the Homebrew Launcher on my vwii though if that has anything to do with it

good to know how you did it and what happend after you did it? for me my solution just booted me up to enviroment loader and then i set aroma to default and worked

Thanks, But I went into WUPInstallerGX2 and found "HBL CHANNEL" I know what that is, And then I have Nusspli, but when I click on HBL and try to install it to nand it says "Verify WUP files are correct & complete. DLC/E-shop require Sig Patch"

1. I know the WUP files are correct
2.I know it is formatted to FAT32
3. By sig patch does it want me to open the eshop??

basically wii u games have a signature so the wii u knows it is a legit game an then boot it up but nusspli games i dont know if they have a signature at all so obviously they wont run if if you dont have something to disable the signature check the game simply refuses to boot thats also why nusspli games wont run if you remove the sd card from your wii u because the signature disable is on the sd

I had installed games on my WII U NAND and I had some saves on a USB. I moved them over And it said "Data already exists. Overwrite the data?" or something like that. I said yes not knowing what I was doing and after a few minutes, it completed. I went back to the home screen and my apps where no where to be found. And then it kicked in, I remembered pressing yes when overwriting the data. Confused I went to the data settings, And like it said it was overwritten. oddly the actual game wasn't there (I just thought it would overwrite the other data) And even more odd That "invisible data" was still on my wiiu. I was using a 32gb Nand and had a little less than 6000mb. ANd it said there was 18gb.

I want to fix the games and delete the "invisible data".

Any suggestions?

(I know this isn't the right topic but I know someone will see it here.)
