Hardware Wii Cases for backups?

Those are some pretty nice printouts. They actually look like manuals to me. What kind of paper did you use? How come you don't have a Wii Play print out?

like i said there were like 50 sleeves with the cover on the front and the disc on the back (let's say each sleeve is a sheet of paper, front page is for the cover, back page is for the disc).



oh yeah, I just used regular 8.5"x11" paper printed on my home printer for those prints

It's because the sleeves have a clear plastic insert for the cover that it looks good in the dvd case

you can download manuals from the nintendo website, but only nintendo games though.

If you're willing to spend that much money then just buy the game and get the authentic product. Do you have some kind of compulsive obsession to pirate everything? Or are you a counterfitter looking to land some time in the slammer.

Any more, video games have so much in-game tutorials and help, that the manuals don't have much of anything of real use.

Wow. That's awesome. Do you know what brand that was? I'm having trouble finding something similar online.

there is no brand, it's this generic china dvd album that they sell in tiangges in the Philippines (kinda like clustered street stalls but we have dedicated malls of them). They sell it along with pirated dvds, ps2, wii, well... if it's on disc they got it

i can't afford a printer, nor can i afford the ink, you have far too much money to waste, all i do is go to the £1 shop grab a 100CD wallet case thing, a CD writer pen and i'm done.

OK lets do the math,


1x Epson R300 Printer £100 (when i bought mine some 2 years ago)
100x TY Dye DVD-R £30
500x Sheets of Gossy Paper (thick) £25
30x White DVD Cases £12
Ink x 1 set £15

Total = £182

Now call me stupid but with 30 cases I can make 30 "authentic" looking backups. 30 Wii games DO not cost me £182 in the shops or online, it would cost more like £1200!!! And also remember that the £182 includes initial setup costs such as purchasing a DVD printer, inks, DVD-R's and paper all of which are reusable to some extent. Now I can see some peoples point when they say why bother, maybe i'm just anal and like my backups to look as close to the real deal as possible which as far as I can see is the topic posters original point. But to the people who say go buy the originals if your going through all that trouble - I'd rather keep my £1018 thank you very much

PS - the reason I dont include the Chip and installation costs in this post is due to peoples skill of DIY installation and because if your like me I went to my local store and traded all my Wii games for cash which more than covered the cost of a chip and installation.

yeah well I've set up my printer with a Continuous Ink System (CIS) for like 40usd from a free printer I got from my ISP (brother mfc-210c). So pretty much printing stuff is like dirt cheap. also if you're going to keep the cover in like a plastic case then pretty much printing on plain paper does wonders for your pocket.

Please dont take this wrong way. Personally if I didnt have £182 spare I wouldnt be living in the most expensive part of the UK. Food and houses/rent are much cheaper else where. Cut your bills and enjoy your life

. But the point you made is more than correct - food is more important than high quality backups!! I hope Kingofnoobs can afford both if this the desired route he wishes to take.


I still do stick by my original point tho - once your overheads are taken care of, creating high quality backups is no more costly than buying a pen and a 100 DVD wallet and if it is, its very marginal.
