Hello there

I've decided to dust off my old hacked Wii and I'm having weird Internet issues:

My Wii is able to connect to the Internet no problem through the Connection Test, and the Homebrew Channel is able to get an IP Address from my router

Any other HB App that I've tested (d2x cIOS, USB Loader, Project+ Updater) can't connect to the Internet, either being frozen on "Initializing network" or getting "tcp_connect timeout"
This happened both before Priiloader and after installing it and blocking all kind of updates.

Something to note is that my cIOS is old, I'm talking probably 2012 old, and I've been trying to update it in Online mode but, as per above, it doesn't work.
Could that be causing the issue? Should I do an Offline cIOS update then try to connect again?

In terms of actual cIOS functionality, Brawl (Project+) boots no problem from USB Loader GX

cIOSes have nothing to do with Wifi connections, so that's not the problem.

I've had that same "tcp_connect_timeout" error before but it fixed by itself by just trying again a few hours later. I'd suggest try again later, or try a different network. Maybe change to a wired connection if possible.

You can also update your cIOS manually by getting the base IOSes from NUS and putting them on the root of the SD card... or just use ModMii (a desktop app).

Right, another thing I should mention is that I recently did the same steps on vWii and I've had 0 issues connecting d2x to the Internet.

And I've also had my fair share of vWii connection issues, though those were 100% router side and the Wii wasn't connecting to the Internet all in the first place (changing the Wi-Fi channel fixed it)
