If your are reading this I thank you if you can help me. 2 days ago i wanted to get custom themes and backups working on the main disk channel. so i started wacthing this guys video on Youtube on how to do it. I was almost done, i was able to play backups on my main disk channel and i had preloader working and i went to download the next thing witch was IOS60-61 Shop Mii (P.S. Link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0Ek5a9n8Rk...feature=related at 3:25 is what im talking about...), he didn't install it in his video but he told in the video to do so and when it was done it exited me to the homebrew channel and my screen was UPSIDE DOWN! I got Scared so I instantly shut off my Wii and when I turned it back on it just stood on a black screen.....forever. Sence I hack psp's i know it was bricked but i don't know how to unbrick it! I don't have BootMii installed and when i tried to use the preloader it didn't work. Plz if you are reading this, plz help me. I will forever in your debt. Thanks over 9000.

Do you have bootmii as a boot2?? This is literally the 50th post this week on how IOS60xx, WiiSCU, Wii 4.0 Safe Updater, 4.1 Safe Updater has bricked XXXX's Wii. If you don't have that, your done. IOS60 was installed as a stub meaning you have a non functioning system menu IOS.

Send it into Nintendo, seriously. Pay 75. Nothing, not the recovery menu, nothing if you don't have bootmii as a boot2 can help you now.

STOP USING THESE BRICK TOOLS PLEASE!

FUCK! I don't have money to send it to nintendo.... Thanks for the helping me guys. If you find a way to fix it plz let me know asap!

ouch, wish you would've stumbled upon my guide before you attempted that.

did you find gbatemp before or after you bricked?

Yeah that really sucks, system menu recovery mode is gone, preloader even if it was installed is gone, you need boot2 for this. Remember that lesson in the future and make sure you get an up to date guide. Ouch....

I just went out and bought DVD-R disks so i can make Wii games and this happened....... what irony.

No, without bootmii installed in boot2, there really isn't anything you can do, since you can't get it to do anything.
