I just moved PAL Wii to an another TV,and the color is black and white. I plugged the composite cables into component ports, since this TV only has component, like it should, red into red, white into white and yellow into green. I tried changing the resolution and tricks with turning it on and off, but still the same. I tried playing Super Mario Bros 2. (the Japanese one) which runs in 60Hz, and my TV can't play it. Is there a solution to this except buying component cables?

Usually you have to hit a switch on component cables to allow for color, so yeah, you will need to buy some component cables.

Component doesn't encode color using NTSC or PAL. Should fix PAL60 content on older US TVs, can't speak from experience.
