Emulation Wii best controller for emulation

Hi I'm looking for the best controller for emulators and GC games as I use my Wii as an emulation station on a old crt.

I'm a bit torn between Wii u pro wireless controller and Wii classic controller. What do you guys advise ?

I use a Wii Classic Controller Pro for all my emulators and I have Gamecube controllers for Nintendont. I've used the Pro controller for games like Capcom vs SNK 2 as it's better for 2D fighters.

The d-pad on the wiimote works better than the d pad on the gamecube controller for NES games.

Classic Controller because theres more buttons. FYI if you're gonna use classic controller for Metroid Prime, using super missiles is awkward.

Wii U pro. Every retroarch core works out of the box, Nintendont works without issues. I use a launch Wii via component on a crt too. I feel a better input latency with the Wii U pro controller compared to the wii classic and wii classic controller pro.
