As far as the leak is concerned, it's my impression that if Waninkoko was willing to make linkinworm a beta tester, a leak isn't going to bruise him much. He was willingly sending it to people who requested, which means he's the type of person who believes in sharing.


Another thought could be that he intentionally leaked it, so that it would end up on sites like GBATemp and Tehskeen. This way, he can test the waters with Nintendo without getting in trouble.

I do believe they should be shared, but not here, and not by waninkoko until an official release. My belief for this is that thousands (THOUSANDS) of people go on GBATemp. It is one of, if not the most popular wii hacking forums. the n00bs will swarm it, and if something bad happens they will blame waninkoko. someone should make something like a Google Site with the info, the links, credit to wanin, and a DISCLAIMER saying it is a BETA and not officially released, and it was LEAKED BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN WANINKOKO, WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, and that nobody (especially Waninkoko, after his AMAZING WORK (ty btw, u rock) ) can be held responsible.

Here's how you use it.

You patch the ISO with the .exe that came in the download.
Install the CIOS on your Wii
Install DVDX. Go to Advance and choose 249
Install Wii Loader
Burn the patched ISO with ImgBurn
Run the loader

two questions.

1. I try to patch the ISO and it says "cant find partition title key"... what do i do?
2. is there a way to uninstall DVDX after it is installed?
