My friend tried to install the IOS, but it didn't work. But he probably didn't do it right or didn't have the right software.

Yeah, the backup reader can only read at up to 3x speed, not at the full 6x speed.

Can i uninstall the CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042 file with WAD Manager after i try this? Or do i have to use the CIOS Uninstaller?

What i want to know is if this process is reversible >_>

I've been a huge backer of this entire project, but damn!

I don't feel that the intentions were for the entire lot of us to be Beta testers!

let me know how it works though, I guess this will be a good test of whether it becomes a 'mass-bricking!'

Backup-creator works, Custom ISO SHOULD work, but I haven't tested it out yet.

Waninkokos site has a Custom firmware uninstaller on his website, so yeah it's reversible.

Don't install the update. Just like we all did when nintendo released the update they thought would kill the TwilightHack.
