From reading the posts, here's what I THINK is delaying the release...

1) 3x read speed, not 6x... Waninkoko might be trying to increase the read speed to 5x or 6x
2) not all games are "supported" yet... he might be trying to get all discs supported.
3) making the tool to "backup" disc's to be read by the apploader

Just give it some time guys... would you rather have an app that only works with WiiChess and Zelda, or one that WORKS with all the games, and reads at decent speeds?

To be honest, I'll take the Zelda and WiiChess loader, atleast its something to play around with and make it tangible, and will make the wait a lot easier.

But it also boots SMG and another game, so all games are actually supported, except maybe ones with updates in them, though I have no idea. But all games are the same, except SSBB which is Dual-Layer.

So, there's no other way to play Chess than on your Wii? And don't you kinda have to have TP to get the homebrew channel? Mario Galaxy wasn't all that great of a game... yea, different, but not anything new from Mario 64...

Just WAIT... it's been what, 2 years since the release of the Wii... you can wait 2 or 3 more weeks... it won't kill you... and if it does, one less pirate! lol

We're not trying to steal anyone's thunder by posting the story on tehskeen, the video is exclusive afterall, to tehskeen as we (brakken) made it. But its not like we're saying that we had it/posted about it/made a video first. We're just saying this a video exclusive to tehskeen thats all, don't get the wrong idea. I mean it isn't exactly NEWS is it? Its days old already. I was surprised brakken didn't post it sooner, I didn't make a story about it because I thought it was speculative still. Though proof was there.

tehskeen is not down due to traffic, the new server is blazing fast. He took it down for some reason, or someone else did, but it certainly isn't a server overload.

PS, dont get me wrong blazingwolf. Tehskeen is good, but they always get the exclusives. Its good for someone else to have them for a change.

Oh god, now we're being turned on again. I don't speak for brakken when I say this, but tehskeen posting on this first isn't a bad thing at all is it? The news was already out, here on gbatemp.net. It just wasn't posted on a scene site until yesterday and if anything waninkoko gave it to him and wanted him to make a story out of it in the first place, so if anything waninkoko felt that it was okay for brakken to let it out publicly first right?

We would have used your video linkinworm, if we were 100% sure that it was real. But we didn't know, and by the time we did, waninkoko has already given the program to tehskeen to make his own video. Theres nothing wrong with making your own video for your own newspost.

I hope it's not leaked. I'd rather wait another week or 2 for an OFFICIAL release, plus I want it officially released so that it can tell us if some games dont work ect. Don't need to waste any DVD's or screw up the Wii with an un-finshed app.

Think of it this way... even if the apploader is released, you still need the ISO modifier, lol

So, it'll be pointless to get the apploader without the ISO modifier!
