The only problem with that is that it can be eazily faked when recorded with a capture card, but since we already have offscreen videos I guess using a capture card would be good now, and a hypercam recording of the patching of the isos

Oh my god... The Wii is out since 2 years now. So it won't hurt anyone to wait for another 2 or 3 weeks until the backup loader will be released. And if all this is just a fake (I don't think it is a fake) it won't hurt anyone to install a modchip... Keep this thread clean for some *real* infos and discussion about important things regarding the backup loader...

What are the differences between torrented Isos and regular ones? Aren't they both the same?

dont think so, loading time seems ok, just might be the dvd he's using. not sure on that one.

the only think regarding softmod is the amount of noobs who dont know anything about hbc with a wii would want this and its easy money for people who'll know how to do this. similar to the psp downgrade, people charging a tenner for sumthing that is free.

No, because the patcher will check your internet history and knows wether the iso comes a torrent.

They are the same. I guess that you need some info about the ISO that is different in every iso to patch it
