Why is that gundam games barely ever go over seas anymore?

Two reasons, I guess:

1. Sales aren't particularly good.

2. If there isn't a show to directly tie them into, a lot of publishers won't risk them because they don't have that immediate, built-in, audience.

SD Gundam anime did come out in the US already though but it was in like 2004 or 5.
