I just got my Guitar Hero Guitar + Guitar Hero 5 for my 360. I'm gonna try out the 360 version tonight.

The site where i wanted to buy it says, it's out in Germany on September 11th.

Got Beatles working today, but no dice on this:-

Disk Channel = "Disk Error"
Backup Launcher = "Error #002"
NeoGamma7 = Hang at black screen.

Must admit I didnt do the #002 fix...

Anyone got this working yet?

Working fine on my flatmii, Pal UK Wii 4.1e, Am well happy as the NTSC version was a complete arsepain to get working!!

Is it safe to let the game run the update? (using flatmii). guessing it wont do any major changes but better to ask first

edit: its safe, this GH5 release + latest Wii firmware + flatmii and update from the ISO worked fine.

Black screen for me. 3.2E PAL Wii. Maybe I should run remove the update?

Didn't seem to get an update though so I wonder what to do...

Hi everyone ^^ I've got an help for all those who gets a black screen when you want to play Guitar Hero 5. I had the same problem but i just got through it using this method :

1) - run cios222 installer v4
- choose IOS 249
- select Install Custom IOS 222 (Default)
- select Use IOS 38 (Recommended)

2) - run again cios222 installer v4
- choose IOS 249
- select Install Custom IOS 223
- select Use IOS 38 mergerd with IOS 37

3) For the final step, you have to install Ios 56-64-v5146.wad using wad manager v1.5

Then use uloader v3.0 to play this game and you have to select PAL 50 or PAL 60 and select ios 223 and then the game will work perfectly ^^

I always wonder what is the use of installing IOS 222 if you are going to use 223 to launch the game... ? can someone explain?

I played it yesterday, works very well after game update.

Much better than GH World Tour, many more options and the coolest elements have been kept too.

if you have HBC,
install IOS56 using DOP-IOS
boot game via GECKO-OS to get past the 002 error
that's all i had to do to get it working
same goes for rock band beatles

I was able to run beatles rockband pal & GH Metallica without any probs BUT GH5 would'nt load (black screen)

The hermes guide worked perfectly for me. It now loads GH5 Pal using configurable usb loader CFG using the option to run with Mload settings and block reloading of ios & 002 fix on.

Hermes guide: (I can confirm thisa worked for me without installing any additional wads.

I confirm that installing Hermes' IOS and launching the game with Configurable USB Loader using IOS 222 (IOS38 merged with IOS37) also did te trick for me!

Game loads ok for me but I get stuttering during play. Is there a solution for this or is it bad burn, wrong dvd-r media,...?
