Did anyone try installing someone else's save file to see if you can get past that screen on a soft-modded Wii?

Might as well import a Classic Controller Pro? Can that be used? lol

Are those out already? I demolished my current Classic Controller for use in a custom joystick in anticipation of the Classic Controller Pro, but I heard they weren't out until this summer. If imported, will a Japanese Classic Controller (Pro) work with a US wiimote?

Could someone who has gotten the game to work post a save file, so that I can try and see if that will help solve the problem with black screen?

Here's a way how i got the game and the demo startet on my 3.2 eur wii.
You just need the latest version of Gecko os.
Set the language to japanese and go to the Rebooter Options.
Enable Region free, Remove Copy Flags and Buttom Skip.
Then just press B to launch rebooter.
Go to the Disc Channel and start the game normal.
After the warning i puted the classic controller.

Are you sure that's all you do? I tried this, but the disc just stopped spinning on the wii channel screen. I know my game works, because I can boot it up regulary, until I get the black screen, but I can't get it to boot through the disc channel.

Thank you very much!
This works for me, without a Modchip.

Use softchip, set to japanese and ISO 55, be sure to have the latest Waninkoko's CIOS or something like that (you need the CIOSBUGFIX55), and the game will run just fine.

Anyway, has someone managed to play online? I tried a lot of things, including changing my Wii's firmware to the JP one, but it just doesn't work. Maybe we should fake the Wii's IP or something?
