Just buy the Classic Controller. It's the only Wii accessory that's worth buying.
not everyone has the power to buy what they want. i personally have to use my money on bills and such, so no classic controller for me, not right now anyway, the classic controller is about £20 in the Uk or something? i didn't bother with it because the gamecube controller does the same thing, capcom are just being lazy imo, this game could perfectly be played with a wiimote and nunchuck, and also if monster hunter 3 is the same where you have to use a classic controller exclusively i will be
real mad then.

Yeah, the reason is that the company that Capcom subcontracted to run the US servers went out of business. Can't exactly patch PS2 games to connect to new servers, so they were forced to give it up.
I'm not arguing that MH is not as popular in America as it should be, but saying that that's why the servers shut down is ignorant. The RE Outbreak servers were run by the same group and that's why they're gone too.
Anyway, I'm sad. I can't find the MHTri demo anywhere.
the same thing happend in capcom europe, the servers were closed down, i was real upset as i loved the first monster hunter online, i spent at least over 300 hours of my time playing that game on the ps2, outbreak was the same in europe too, it's sad really.

Monster Hunter is nowhere as close to popular here as it is in Japan. There's a reason why they shut down the servers for the first PS2 game, but in Japan it's still going strong.
