just wondering as only just modded wii if i try a ntsc game on my wii key it wont do anything to it unless it has an update correct?

So if i try this and it dont work it would just be a read error?

It'll probably give you black screen when you try to load it up, but yeah, it won't cause any damage.

Wether it works on PAL or not doesn't depend on your chip right? So if it doesn't work on Yaosm, then it won't work on Wiikey either?

If not, someone with Wiikey please test it.

Japanese version didn't work on PAL, not much hope for this.


i hope this works on pal, my Wii is gathering dust because there is noting to play on it.

You're kidding right? Brawl just came out and No More Heroes is coming shortly as well as Okami Wii later in March and US Brawl (If you really hate playing the game in Japanese).

Brawl is out, and games coming out shortly would mean that he could dust off his Wii soon anyways so there's no point in moaning about lack of games when one game dosen't work on PAL and so many are coming out soon.
