Hacking Wifi?

Does the r4 have any problems playing games that allow wifi?? and i was j/w okay say u have mario kart ds on ur r4's micro sd card and u decide to connect internet does the nintendo server know that its a copy or does it just assign ur copy of mario a friend code w/o any problems?

yeah, like he said. all wifi games so far (and im pretty sure forever) work on wifi. tetris works for download play though =]

does it let u setup wifi connection on r4 ? i have heard ppl saying tt u need an original cart to setup the wifi b4 putiing back the r4 for it to work..

I didn't have any carts with wifi play but on my M3, I had a Tetris DS game and went to the Wifi configuration in the Wifi menu there and that was it.

You have to set up the wi-fi settings within a game, but that game can be a rom or a real cart. So yes, you can set it up just fine on your R4. No commercial cart required.
