Hacking Wifi Issues while JB - PS4 4.55

Hi,
Got PS4 4.55 . Want to Jailbreak. I'm using Wifi as my LAN Cable is too short..

I tried Al Azifs method from Github - (using Wifi Connection) but get error when Testing Internet Connection.

SSID: My Router
Obtain IP Address: Successful
Internet Connection: Failed

- Is it because Im setting up Internet on WIFI, If so, Is there another method where WIFI works?

So your issue is present while in jailbreak or? I assume then it worked fine with the same setup before jailbreaking? Have you tried any other payloads?

if you use the dns given in the github, i have that too.
the no internet connection thing, it's normal.

i think it's to block updates.

No. Just One payload.. Al azifs repo

OK.. I got the "special menu" in Settings -> User Guide . Installed "Disable Updates" and "HEN" now I got another issue.. In "debug menu" -> "package installer" Can't find packages,

Why is this? I've plugged in a USB thumb drive . With a test.pkg file in the G:\ folder.

Maybe try go back out to xmb, unplug and replug USB, then go back into settings > debug > game > package installer.

If not...

Perhaps badly formatted usb?

I tried some other pkgs. Same issue. --- Im doing a BIG format.. takes awhile..

Also: For PS4 USB-Ports Compability. Can you somehow check if the ports are okey ?

None of my 3 USB sticks can even fit in my PS4, because they have that f****** stupid slit that they put the USB slot inside, I got to go buy one of those ultra-thin USB sticks now

Edit: Can you use External HDD (not thumb drive) to install packages as well?

@stephaniie yes anything thats MBR exfat formatted will work. I use a 2TB game drive to install mine.

Resolved the issue by sacrificing my ps3 external hdd into the abyss of ps4 formats (ex-fat) , works fine nice

Edit: just wondering if I can stop my Ps4 for shutting down after 15min ?

Turn off rest mode and power saving, turn off pad time out, etc.

If your ext hdd spins down: use a pc and manufacturers tools to turn off spindown/sleepmode.
