I had an issue with the computer freezing when i saw video on media player classic (K-lite codecs installed and used) or VLC. I read that its an issue with the graphics drivers so i uninstalled the older Nvidia drivers completely with driver sweeper also and then installed the news ones. Worked very well and no freezing whatsoever.
Now the issue comes with DeSmuME that just few minutes in the game and it freezes completely until restart is required.
What is the reason and solution?
Is it that my VGA card is dying and i have to put it on top the oven to have the solder melt in together again? I have read that some parts get worn out and the solder is to be made again by placing it in foil on TOP of the oven.
I tried the drivers and it doesnt work. The drivers were working perfectly a few days ago, it seems like its not a driver issue anymore.
I will try the startup thing but i dont actually have much cuz i close everything and then use the pc.

Thanks

LOLOL Your going to put your gpu on your OVEN because your OS and/or drivers are Corrupt!?

Also, wtf is "Driver Sweeper"? doesnt sound like anything id ever trust. you needed to just go to nvidia.com and download the latest drivers and durring the installation check the box to perform a clean installation. if your still having an issue check your CPU usage.

Also, DeSmuME runs very poorly on anything below the modern average. lol do not cook your card on the stove! where did you read such a thing, that would ruin the fan and everything!

Have someone come look at your PC, don't be ashamed. atleast you didnt pre-heat the oven.

Trust me. Putting your Video card on the the stove or in the oven is as bad as deleting your system32 directory to wipe a virus. That will completely ruin your computer. If you did that, you would have to get a new video card because you'd melt your old one.

Make sure you don't have a whole lot running on your system. Start up the system like normal, but don't do anything else. When it's done starting up and running any background tasks, then you run your emulator and games.

If it still freezes and you have to restart, you might have to alter your startup and stop a few things, or you will have to get a few new things. Also, you might have to change the settings of your emulator to make it more friendly to your system.
