Hacking Why i'm going to update

Here are some Reasons why i'm going to update

• So i can play online
• I don't have the money for a second Switch
• I preordered the Cartridge Version of Super Mario Odyssey, so i'm anyways forced to update to play the game

Or someone finds a Ways to bypass a Cartridge Update, but i don't think this is possible as the Update Part lies deep inside the System and with Userland Permissions this won't the possible (maybe?)

So i'm forced to update and till Homebrews comes a Year will pass anyways.

I don't think it will ship with a Firmware like 3.0.0 as PokeDX already has a 3.0.0 Firmware on it

I did the same thing. I did have 2 switches. But it just breaks my heart to see my kids taking turns playing Splatoon 2 which they really love. I said to myself. If homebrew/hack indeed comes, what can it do? Will it be able to play the recent games? Will it be able to go online? Its just so uncertain, so I updated the 1.0.0 to the latest one, bought another copy of Splatoon 2. And now my kids think i am a super hero.

Although, I am contemplating buying a 3rd switch. hahahaha

Yeah, it's not worth it for most this early on in the Switch's life. The pool of users on this firmware will be small.

Let's hope it doesn't end up in a Vita situation where you can't play games released after the exploited firmware. The Vita is at the end of its life so it's not a huge deal, but it's completely different for the Switch.

Sensible choice if you purchased the switch for games. Eventually you will have the best of both worlds, however i don't think that will be for quite a while yet.
