i am confident .
i gave the game to my dad , and he's one that can be supah serious and persuasive . i wonder what Gamestop does ... oh yeah , did i forget to mention , while me and my dad looked at the case , we were reflecting it under light . then we saw some writing on it with someone's name, address and phone number . clearly, this isn't new for sure now.

I'd say thats effing lazy of them. Why wouldn't they check the case at all? Check the game if it had the serial number in it? This is a pc game for crying out loud. Not a console game where you don't need a code unless it's for dlc or online purposes.

so my dad came back home with teh game . he told me that all Gamestop did was give me a new instruction manual [which has the serial number] and a new CD . case is still the same . apparently, they don't give out new games where it's fully wrapped for PC games ? i have absolutely no idea why not . pretty ridiculous actually . you can't even tell if it's new or not .

with it being new or used , is especially important with PC games because of the serial key . without it , the CD itself is useless . in addition to that , it's acts as an ID for online gaming . all i know is that when it comes to buying PC games , i will NEVER buy any from Gamestop . heck , i won't even be buying console games or games in general from them unless their pre-order bundle is special and comes with something .

That's because they thought you wanted a used copy. New copies of games that are factory sealed, are sold behind the counter. You brought up a case, even if it said New, and you got what you asked for basically.

Somebody goofed up and didn't cover the sticker up, or didn't take the New sticker off. You brought up the used case, they gave you the used game. You ask for the new games.

Simple misunderstanding. I love my EB games in this town. There's this one guy Adam who knows me, and he's helped me a lot.

i tried pre-ordering MVC 3 colleter's edtion but the person there says i can't and i have to pre-order it a month early of the relase date... i was like man... that's so stupid and the only reason i wanted it was for the DLC... damn just damn... but it's nice that i can return anything i don't like pre-owned to any gamestop... with in 7 days through. (there's a whole bunch in my area) so i'm going pre-order the mortal kombat edtion arcade edtion before march 19th. and i joined there power rewards too also.
