I want a detailed explanation on why doesn't vWii work on redNAND, and what stops us from making it work?

Anyway, I'm dumping my vWii data from redNAND right now, and I'll try to inject it to sysNAND.
Shall I stop?
I don't think it would result in a brick, but the Wii U is what we're talking about right now...

I'm not certain as to why it doesn't work but I'm betting the bug is much like the one seen in the 3ds in early emunand tools. Hell gateway still has this flaw.

In improper dump of the software would cause that but being the case couldn't one use wuphax to not only reinstall a fresh Downloaded build of it into emunand but hack it too? If that's why its broken this would solve the problems. Otherwise it likely needs a special patch like we had for 3ds cfws using emunand.

the reason it does not work is because the WiiU has two nands one for wiiu and one for vwii when you create rednand only the WiiU nand is dumped. so when you have rednand loaded all calls to nand at REDirected to the SD card so loading a vwii game the wiiu looks for the vwii nand on the SD card but as it is not on the SD card the wiiu crashes simple as that.

Ya sure? Oh well, that means all my saves are gone... :(

Newer 100%.
NSMBW 100%.
MKW 100%.
SMG 100%

And many more games....
No there are tools on the wiiu homebrew app store to copy the saves to PC then to copy them back to sysnand.

Not exactly.
It's a boot reason.
RedNAND ignore the first 512 bytes of the boot (in this case,vWii)
