It's because those who try to hack their Xbox have been crying over being banned from LIVE.
So much so that they can't look at their console in the eye.

No, its because the copy protection has not been fully hacked yet.

it actually hasnt been hacked AT ALL.... only one kernel was ever found to have an exploit (KK exploit...)

thats long since patched and you cannot downgrade to that kernel now without an expensive modchip... everything is checked and passed through the hypervisor now... chance of the xbox360 ever being hacked fully is very low

Well we don't need no stinking emulators honestly. Chances are everyone already owns another system capable of running emus like DS, PSP, GC, Wii, DC, PS2, etc.........

The only way you could make or run emulators on it is if you had XNA membership. There have already been proof-of-concept emulators for XNA.

Really though, as you've said, the original Xbox pretty much does it all already. Granted, there are a few platforms that would greatly benefit from the 360 (N64/PSX/MAME). For the price of XNA membership alone though ($99) you could pick up two original Xboxes.

Well that sucks.

Btw, shouldnt this be in frequently asked questions??

Or is it not that frequently asked?

Most people understand that if a software hack doesn't exist for a system, then there would be no software written for it. Go figure.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
